How to bypass toshiba computer password?

I have a Toshiba laptop computer and I want not get pass the the computer password. I know there are bypass worlds and i tryed most of them just for it to do nothing. there some that i can do to fix it

Hmm usually passwords are put on because parents have grounded their children off the computer, however I guess I can tell you :p

Theres two different passwords. The passwords put on your operating system. and the password put in bios. The only way of erasing a bios password, is by removing the battery in the computer. Its silver, and looks like a battery. However I would HIGHLY suggest you dont do that. You can screw up the battery and have to buy a new one. The password of Windows can be bypassed through starting the computer in safe mode. When you first start the computer up, you'll have black screens and white text. You need to press F8 while its booting up. This will give you a few different options, allowing you to boot into safe mode. You then just log into the administator account. However if they changed the admin account password, your out of luck.

My new Toshiba laptop computer currently takes to initialise before I can utilise any prog. It has Norton ant?

Laptop Toshiba Tecra, using Microsoft XP, Office professional. Appears to have plenty of memory.
Is the problem Aol, Norton or what might it be, as this is the first experience of this that I have had.
Currently in West Africa so will have to try to fix myself.

How much RAM have you got and what's processor model and frequency? Speed depends on them. Norton is a big resource hog, so use a substitute like AVG is you are low on memory (512MB or less for Windows XP).

AOL also puts loads of junk into your computer. Get rid of it too. You can use the online AOL services instead, they don't require downloading anything.

I have a Toshiba laptop computer that I want to sell, but want to erase all of my files, so it is default like it was when I bought it. I remember it was called something along the lines of a Destructive System Reboot in Windows XP.

i'd say just put in your system restore cd in the drive, fromat the hard drive and reinstall vista

I have an old Toshiba laptop and want to sell it to a friend. I just want to wipe everything from memory and re-load the windows xp software before I sell it on.

Try using the built in recovery software that came with the 'top. hen you restart press F10 or F-w/e to start the built in recovery software. Then browse around there till you find the recovery stuff. It will wipe your PC and then restore it back to factory.

Where can I buy Toshiba Laptop computers with English OS (with japanese key board) in Japan?

I found similar models at 'Toshiba Direct.com site at USA.But they don't sell/ship to Japan.Toshiba's home site in Japan is only in Japanese & they deal with Japanese OS only. I wonder, since Toshiba is based in Japan, whether they have any assistace for my needs! Please help me to contact Toshiba with my needs! Some shops at Tokyo sell international models(with English OS). But, they are very old models!
